Description:

Agnes Murphy Nash is the perfect Hollywood wife – she has the right friends, the right clothes, and even a side career of her own as a writer. Her husband Trevor is a bight producer, and to anyone on the outside, it appears as if they live the picture-perfect celebrity life, complete with tennis tournaments and lavish parties.

Agnes’s seemingly idyllic paradise is shattered, though, when she arrives home one day to find her credit cards canceled and the security code for her enormous LA home changed. Surrounded by menopausal adolescent moms, TMZ videos gone wild, and a tween with DOATM (Disgust of All Things Mom), Agnes descends the escalator down to the bowels of divorce hell. In a world where therapists look like the Real Housewives of Equinox, friends dispense Xanax like Pez, and husbands consider women to be shiny objects, can one Hollywood wife take her life back?

A drop-dead hilarious battle of wills, BEEN THERE, MARRIED THAT will make readers laugh out loud, cringe, and keep turning the pages to see what crazy disaster will happen to Agnes next…and how she’ll rise from the ashes.

About the author:

    • Laurel, when it first came out I passed on a review galley – just didn’t sound like one for me. The publisher sent a trade paperback so I decided to do a giveaway. Haven’t done one of those in a long time! Thanks for sharing your take while also confirming my decision to pass on it.
