  1. A very nice book haul this week. I’ll take on the RaeAnne Thayne book I think. I was tempted by the Kate Clayborn book but her first book was a DNF for me so better for me to be “hands off!”

    • Clayborn’s previous novel (Love Lettering) was a 4 out of 5 stars read for me so I’m eager to read Love at First! And of course I couldn’t not download the Thayne book 🙂

  2. Very nice mailbox. How nice to get a finished copy from Jodi Thomas!
I may be visiting NetGalley again to check out several of these books.
    Have a good week!

    • Thanks, Martha. I haven’t received many finished copies this year so it was such a treat to find a book from one of my favorite authors.

  3. Hi Mary,

What a great selection of books you have featured this week.

Personally, I have my eye on ‘Bitter Falls’ and ‘Gone Too Far’, although I notice that both are ‘series’ reads.

I’m left wondering therefore, if they would work okay as stand alone stories, as I just don’t have time to play ‘series catch-up’ right now! – I might just have to take a chance!

Thanks for sharing and have a good week 🙂

    • Hi Yvonne,
The author gave basic facts about the principal characters in the book. Of course, full context is lost by not reading the three books that came before Bitter Falls but I think you could read it as a stand alone.
      Have a good week!
