Hi Mary,
You have a great selection of books this week, although they are all from series I haven’t ever read, so I’m not too sure if any of them would work as stand alone stories?
I just don’t have the time to invest in starting a lengthy series from scratch, even though I would very much like to.
I hope that you enjoy your Louise Penny book this week and thanks for sharing 🙂

I get not having time for series books, Yvonne. I need to get in early with them or I feel I’ll never catch up. So many books…

I loved A Fatal Grace a while ago…and want to read more from this series.
I also got Return to Virgin River, and can’t wait to read it.
Matrimony, Inc., looks tempting!

It’s my reading goal (through 2021) to read through the Louise Penny series. I’ll try for one each month.

Hope you enjoy Fatal Grace, I know so many readers rave about her books and that series. Not being a huge mystery reader I haven’t really tried them. I would like to get into the Sherry Thomas series eventually.

I’m one of the few mystery lovers who isn’t completely in love with Louise Penny’s books. I enjoy them but not as much as every one else seems too. I did love the Sherry Thomas book and am looking forward to reading more Robyn Carr. Have a great week!

My attraction to the Louise Penny series might be because I’m not a huge mystery reader and can’t compare them to other books in the genre. I’m working more into my reading diet 🙂

I’m reading it now. Not sure if non-fiction is really my thing. Some interesting tidbits though.

I suggest finding the video of the first book. It really sets the scene of the town and people. It’s on Prime. I found it on Hoopla (free!)

All your books this week sound amazing. I like history, so Matrimony, Inc is right up my alley. I’ve been wanting to read Murder on Cold Street and Return to Virgin River for a while. Looking forward to your thoughts on A Fatal Grace. The cover is so pretty.
Hope you have a nice week.
