I do love Kristan HIggins’s books, and have two on my stacks still unread!
I also love Fannie Flagg and haven’t read one of her books in too long! Adding this one to my list.
Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog. Enjoy your week!

Oh my! A new Whistle Stop book and I took a look at the blurb. I’ll definitely have to try it when it comes out. Meanwhile, might be a good time to reread the original story…
Hope you’re doing well, Mary!

I’ve heard so many good things about Fannie Flagg but have never read any of her books except for Fried Green Tomatoes which I absolutely loved. The movie too was very good. Enjoy your new books!

Hi Mary,
I must be the only person who has never read a Fannie Flagg book, including ‘Fried Green Tomatoes’, but this one does sound intriguing.
Even more intriguing and heading straight for my list, is the Kristan Higgins (another new to me author).
The Anbara Salam book is another must for my list, a moving story way ahead of its time by the sound of things and I am wondering what that secret is??
A great selection this week and thanks for sharing 🙂
