  1. My library had the first two books in the Mason series so I put a hold on them (seriously thought I’d read Arthur Truluv but I either didn’t or didn’t write a review for it) and put in a purchase suggestion for The Confession Club.

  2. Oh, The Red Lotus sounds intriguing! I have another book from the same author on my shelves that I need to read though. Have a great week and enjoy your new books!

  3. Hi Mary,

You have some great reading ahead of you by the looks of things, however two books particularly caught my eye out of your new stash … ‘Seven Letters’ and ‘The Red Lotus’.

Monninger is a new to me author and although I have heard of Chris Bohjalian, I have never read any of his books, although I really want to put that right quite soon!

A nice review of ‘Coming Home For Christmas’ by the way. There seem to be quite a lot of books around lately, dealing with the heartbreak and desperation of postpartum depression, so it must be quite a big issue. The car crash and lost memory are almost identical to the storyline of my own current read ‘Last Summer’ by Kerry Lonsdale, the similarities are uncanny!

Thanks for sharing and enjoy your reading this week 🙂

    • HI Yvonne, Seven Letters was an unexpected book and the first by the author Ill read. I’ve enjoyed several by Bohjalian and look forward to reading it in the next few months. Yes, my reading schedule is rather jammed at the moment. Interesting observation about similarities in the Lonsdale book and Coming Home for Christmas.
      Have a good week!
