Happy Easter!
2019 Egg Hunt for the grandchildren
A note to people using Blogger: I’ve had issues leaving a comment on most Blogger blogs for at least six months. Sometimes I can get through captcha but I’d say 90% of the time my comment just disappears. I’ve tried a few suggestions such as clearing my cache, history, etc. but that hasn’t worked. Just wanted to let you know that I read your blogs but can’t comment.
Book arrivals: (linked to Mailbox Monday)
- Crashing The A-List by Summer Heacock (from MIRA and NetGalley)
- Courting Mr. Lincoln by Louis Bayard (from Algonquin and NetGalley)
- Life and Other Inconveniences by Kristan Higgins (from Berkley and NetGalley)
Last week on Bookfan:
- Review: Sunset Beach
- Spotlight/US Giveaway: Tiny Hot Dogs
Reading plan for this week:
As you know, I’ve had the same problem with commenting, which just started recently. I discovered that I can leave comments when I use the Google Chrome browser. I was reluctant to try it…I’ve been so stuck on Firefox since I’ve been blogging. But I’m realizing that I can use both browsers; I just need to comment with the Google Chrome one.
I’m reading Sunset Beach, and loving it!
Enjoy your week! Adorable grandchildren.

That’s funny because I can comment using Firefox but not Safari.

I use Safari and will try the others when I get some time. Thanks for letting us know, Elizabeth.

Sounds like more hoops to jump through but I’ll give it a try. Thanks, Laurel!

Mmm how yummy to have the new Kristan Higgans book, I’ll buy it when it comes out. Also the KWH The Southern Side of Paradise – maybe the audio version. I hope Crashing the A List will be good as I said yes to reviewing it. Haven’t read the particular author before. Happy Easter.

Love the bunny photo.
Bligger has been having issues.
I can’t reply to comments on my own blog when using Safari, but thankfully I can on Firefox. Safari won’t let me log in.
Nice mailbox.

Happy Easter! Aw, you and your grandchildren look so sweet! I bet you’re a wonderful grandmother!
I don’t have problems commenting on blogger blogs (*knock on wood*) and I completely ignore the captcha stuff.

We have a lot of fun – the grands and I 😀
Re the blogger issue – I wish I could figure out what changed. It was never a problem before a few months ago. Frustrating and I don’t have enough technical skill to figure things out…

Our Easter was dismal. Multiple bomb attacks across the country. Came as a total shock to all. Ten years after the end if a 30 year civil war. This is not a resurgence. Something new.

Oh that Tiny Hot Dogs book sounds so good!!! And what a cute title.
I am able to leave comments on Blogger blogs when I am signed into my Google account and using Chrome, so it’s probably a ploy to get people to use Google and Chrome.

The thought about it being a ploy crossed my mind!

Crashing the A List looks good. Your comment came through my blog ok. I’m thinking I may have to add captcha as the spam comments are getting out of hand.
