Last week on Bookfan:
What a week! The polar vortex lingered so I stayed inside and read a couple of books, baked some banana bread, and pushed the vacuum around a bit. I have a new perspective of what cold is and you won’t hear me grumbling about temps (F) in the 20s and 30s range again 😀
This week marks 11 years of Bookfan. Thank you for continuing to stop by to talk about books!
Reading plan for this week:
Congratulations,Mary. I just his 8 a couple of weeks ago. These book blogs are so cool.

Congrats on 11 years Mary, that is commitment, I’m just sorry that I found it only in the latter years. Yes you’ve had some cold weather for sure, my mind and body cannot even comprehend that kind of cold. Happy reading this week.

Thanks for sharing your books and your life…I am shivering just thinking about 22 below! I must admit that I am not used to the cold…20 and 30 above are chilly to me. But then in the summer, we have those triple digits, so it works itself out, I guess.
Congrats on 11 years, Mary. I’ll hit that number in April. I can’t even imagine life without blogging.
I added the new Robyn Carr to my list. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Happy blogiversary! I was glad to be at my mom’s during the polar vortex although it wasn’t nearly so bad here. We’re supposed to be in the 70s before the week is out. Enjoy your new books!

Congratulations on your blog anniversary, Mary! 11 years is wonderful! I love the fact that you pushed the vacuum around while the temps were so cold. Ha! And read. Yes, from what I could see from news reports, it made me glad that we don’t have cold that severe.

You got two good books in this week.
I can understand staying in and curling up with books. I can’t imagine that cold and it’s okay with me if I don’t find out what it feels like.
Stay warm and enjoy reading!

Hmm! The cover of A Dangerous Collaboration really appeals to me and yet having clicked on the link you shared I’m really not too sure its my kind of read after all.
– 22 and here was me thinking our -6c was cold. I’d always thought rather too cold than too hot (after all you can always put more layers on whereas there are only so many you can take off) but have had to reconsider. Mind you, I’d definitely cope better with our -6c than I would your 20/30 which would surely see me melting.
Ooh! I’ve just googled -6c and discovered its actually equal to -21.2f.
Anyway, a positive balmy 8c today, i’m not complaining.

Brrrrr on your temperature. We were cold, but not that cold.
It was 60 yesterday and 51 today….I am sure it won’t last long, but I am loving it for February’s weather.
I have only one Deanna Raybourne book…ENJOY both of your new books and your week.

I remember the extended deep freeze in the early 80s, but I was much younger then and it didn’t seem so cold. We went down to -25 this time.
Congrats on eleven years! That means I must be coming up on ten.
