Question:  Is anyone else having problems leaving comments on Blogger blogs? I haven’t had a problem with wordpress blogs. Hoping this is an easy fix because it’s disappointing to not be able to comment on some of my favorite blogs. Any suggestions?

Update:  I don’t know how it happened but this morning (Monday) I was able to leave comments on Blogger again. Very happy about this 😀 Thanks to those who offered suggestions!

  2. I haven’t noticed any problems lately in that regard. I hope you are able to leave a comment on my Blogger blog, as I’ve finally posted a review! 🙂

  3. I haven’t had any problems with Blogger. But then I have been on Blogger. Do you have a Google account? Or might be a Browser issue. Hope it can be solved for you because I know it can be annoying, and I don’t think you are the only one that has difficulties leaving comments. Anyway I have now made my shift to WordPress.com!! Rush is totally new to me.

    • I use gmail but moved my blog from blogger to WP several years ago. At any rate, I was able to finally comment on blogger blogs this morning. Not sure what changed.

  4. I do have problems leaving comments on some blogs. Very frustrating. And I can’t use my iPad to leave comments on any blogs without having to sign into WordPress EACH AND EVERY TIME!! It’s so annoying and WP hasn’t been able to help me fix the problem.

  5. I have had issues before ( not lately ) and my daughter who is on there, some times can not receive her comments. I have no idea how to fix it.
    I am reading Not Her Daughter – it is amazing so far ( 50 pages in ) Hope you enjoy it.

    • Good to hear about NHD. I’ll read it sometime this fall.
      My problem seems to be resolved at the moment. All of a sudden my avatar was in the comment area which meant my comment should be accepted – and it was. So frustrating but at least it is working now.

  6. You’ve got some good looking books. I’ll be watching for your thoughts about them. As to leaving comments, I’ve noticed that those things seem to come and go. I don’t have trouble leaving comments (and am on Blogger), but we did have the whole ‘can’t receive notice of comments’ issue – which I think most have resolved. It’s always something these days.

  7. After I stopped blogging on Blogger, I kept my Google account…and therefore don’t have any problems commenting. I think the reverse is true for Blogger users commenting on Word Press.

    Hope it works for you. If you don’t have the account, you can set one up and just create a profile.

    • Thanks, Laurel. I didn’t keep my blogger blog but I do have gmail so you’d think I wouldn’t have a problem. BUT, the issue seems to be resolved because I could comment on several blogs this morning. Fingers crossed that’s the last of that problem.

  8. All these books look good Mary. I use Blogger and haven’t had problems on blogger commenting but occasionally do when trying to leave WP comments depending on device I use.

  12. I have had problems finding comments left for my blog but no problems leaving a comment. (To get my comments to show I have to hit refresh.)
    The cover of Not Her Daughter draws my attention.

    I had problems commenting on Word Press blogs and made a Silver’s Reviews Mini Word Press Page. That seemed to fix the problem for me.

    • I just started Rush today and, a few chapters in, I’m enjoying it! My daughter read it a few weeks ago and really liked it.
