Sunday Post – the anniversary edition

I was reminded by a calendar alert that today is the 10th anniversary of Bookfan 🙂 Thanks for reading my blog. I’ve loved sharing my take on the books I read.

Book arrivals:  (linked to Mailbox Monday)

My mailbox was empty (whew, a catch-up week!)

Last week on Bookfan:

Reading plan for this week:

Read in January:

The Wake Up by Catherine Ryan Hyde
Just Between Us by Rebecca Drake
Young Jane Young by Gabrielle Zevin
The Queen of Hearts by Kimmery Martin
As Bright As Heaven by Susan Meissner
The Tuscan Child by Rhys Bowen
The Neighbors by Hannah Mary McKinnon
Not That I Could Tell by Jessica Strawser
A Soupçon of Poison by Jennifer Ashley
Some contemporary fiction, a little mystery and suspense, a little historical fiction. My favorite of the month was my first read of the year:  The Wake Up.

  2. Yay for 10 years of blogging fun! I’m sure you’ve discovered more books and genres than you ever would’ve without the blogging community. What a wonderful achievement for you!

    • Thanks, Kari. You’re right on the book discovery point. I’ve been introduced to so many new authors and genres I’m sure I wouldn’t have without the blog.

  3. Happy blog anniversary! You started just before I did…I created my first blog in April 2008. But I didn’t really “get” blogging for a while, and connecting to other bloggers took some time, too. Loving the connections!

Enjoy all that blogging has brought to you…books, bloggers, etc.

I can’t wait to read Not That I Could Tell…and The Neighbors is on my list. Enjoy your week!

  5. Hi Mary,

    Congratulatations on your Anniversary 🙂

I really must go back and see when Fiction Books began, but time just seems to fly by!

You have some great books in your January tally, but I shall be especially interested to see what you thought about ‘The Tuscan Child’, when your review goes live. This one is on my list and from the couple of promotional posts I have already run for it, I have high hopes that I am going to enjoy it a lot.

Thanks for sharing and I hope you enjoy your current book and continue your winning streak into February 🙂
