Since I reviewed the first book in Jennifer Ashley’s Kat Holloway mystery series I thought I’d give readers a heads up on the prequel. Thanks to blogger Patty who tipped me off! If you don’t already follow her blog, you should – I love it!

    • Glad to hear you like these authors, Laurel. Strawser is new to me. I’ve enjoyed the other two author’s novels. Have a good week!

  2. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about Rhys Bowen’s TUSCAN CHILD. I haven’t picked that one up yet, but I’ve wondered about it.

  3. Mary! You are so sweet! I can’t wait to read Soupcon, too…I loved the Mrs. H. Book…and Daniel…kind of reminds me of Stoker from the Deanna Raeburn books and my beloved Aquaman! Thanks for saying that sweet ness about my blog. We share many of these books this week, too!

  4. Mary, I haven’t yet read work by any of the authors you feature here. Enjoy your reading this week! Winter is the perfect time for extra evening reading time.

  5. Oh yes. The Ashley. I do wish they’d pointed out there was a little prequel for the series. I missed it as well and read book one. I need to get back and read it now 🙂

    Happy reading this week!

  6. I received How To Walk Away as well – looks really good. I’ve got Not That I Could Tell on my WL.

I’m a little over half way done with Just Between Us and I can’t wait to finish it.

  7. Hi Mary,

I could have sworn that I had read a Sally Hepworth, but I couldn’t find any record of it, so there must be a book sat languishing on a shelf somewhere. Either way, I really like the sound of ‘The Mother’s Promise’

I also have a review copy of ‘The Tuscan Child’ working its way up my TBR pile and I have a lovely pre-prepared Q&A session lined up with author Rhys Bowen, for January 31st, so I am looking forward to that.

Thanks for sharing and Happy Reading 🙂
