How do you decide which ones to read and which ones get dumped?

I read most of the books that are unsolicited and all the books I request from NetGalley. I don’t read unsolicited books that are genres I don’t enjoy. If it’s a finished book I’ll spotlight it and do a US Giveaway instead. That way I can still feel like I’m supporting an author.
