  1. You got a couple of books that I’ve had on my TBR for a long time – Wife 22 and Into the Wilderness. Look forward to hearing what you think about them. I ought to just read them – ha! Have a good week, Mary!

  2. I have Wife 22 on my TBR…it’s been there a while (since 2014!), so I must get to it! I am focusing on newer books I’ve bought for the Read the Books You Buy Challenge, but that book is in my TBR Jar.

I also want The Night the Lights Went Out and The Mother’s Promise. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

    • Wife 22 has been on my To Read list for a few years so when it went on sale last week I grabbed it. Have a great week, Laurel.

  3. Mary, I thought “Into the Wilderness” was very good and, I’m looking forward to the Karen White book as well. Hope you have a great week.

  4. I have the Karen White book too and I am looking forward to the Susan Mallery book although I won’t get to it until a little later in Feb.

  5. I’ve already learned about Jodi Thomas from you. And Sally Hepworth seems to be coming up a lot too. It’s just so darn hard to keep adding authors, don’t you think?

  6. Hi Mary,

You have some great new books for your shelf this week, any of which I would also have no problem reading, although I have to say that the one which caught my eye was ‘The Mother’s Promise’. I already have ‘The Secrets Of Midwives’, another of Sally’s books, on my reading list.

I hope that you enjoy them all in due course. I see that you enjoyed ‘A Million Little Things’, Susan Mallery is another author I have yet to read.

    Have a great week 🙂

    • The Mother’s Promise was a surprise in my mailbox. I was very happy to receive it as I really enjoyed her previous novel The Things We Keep. Have a great week!

    • Thanks, Yvonne! I hope it’s working now. When I ran my cursor over the Share button the Twitter button dropped down so it appears to be functional.

    • I agree, January has passed in the blink of an eye. In past years it seemed to drag. I guess I was busier than usual this year.

  7. Your new books sound good to me! I read Wife 22 some years ago and overall, enjoyed it a lot. I hope you do too. Happy reading!
