Reading plan for this week:
Not much reading last week. The good news is my husband came home from the hospital on Wednesday so life is starting to get back to a routine. Thanks for all the kind thoughts, good wishes and, of course, prayers. He had bypass surgery so we’re tweaking our diet and making small changes in other areas. I’m looking forward to visiting blogs this week and finding more reading time. Have a great week!
Oh, I am so envious of your new Robyn Carr…I loved the first Sullivan’s Crossing book. I added this one to my list. Thanks for sharing.
I love your snowy blog header!

Thanks, Laurel. I snapped the pic out our back door last year (I think) but we are in the middle of a snow storm now and its the same view 🙂 I’m really looking forward to reading the Sullivan’s Crossing book but will hold off a while.

Thanks, Mystica. I think I’ll be skipping the baking this year unless I find some tasty low fat and low salt recipes. It’s the least of my worries. And I’m really not worried. I hope all is well with you and your family.

Two books I am looking forward to Any Day Now and A Million Little Things. And I loved The Trouble With Christmas. This is such a great series. So happy to hear things are looking better for your husband and you. I hope he continues to improve. Getting back into a routine is good…and more reading is even better..

Great news that your husband has made it home in time for Christmas, now you really do have something to celebrate and a brand New Year to look forward to 🙂
No sign of any UK snow yet, at least not down here in the south, where it has been a lovely day, although a little damp and mucky underfoot.
Perhaps the enforced weather bound spell indoors and some of the worry lifted from your shoulders, will see you return to your reading with renewed enthusiasm and both your new finds look sure to help, as they are both right up your street.
Have a good week and take care of yourselves 🙂

Thanks, Yvonne. I’m certainly grateful that my husband is home and he improves each day. Now we’re getting ready for a calm, less active Christmas which might be the best way for Christmas to be celebrated 🙂

Diet change is difficult but necessary. HUGS.
ENJOY your books. I haven’t read a Robyn Carr book or a Susan Mallery book, but by the looks of some of the comments, I should. 🙂

I have the new Susan Mallery book too. I haven’t read the first two in the series so I hope I can just jump right in with this one.

I’m glad he’s home and it was before the snowstorm and cold temps. We can hibernate for a few days!
I don’t think you’ll have a problem reading A Million Little Things. I read the second but not the first and had no issues.
