Last week I marked eight years of blogging about books. When I began Bookfan back in 2008 I wasn’t sure how long I would keep this blog thing going 🙂  Now, starting my ninth year, I’m amazed by all the wonderful people I’ve met and all the good books I’ve read. Thanks for visiting, commenting, and making this such a great experience!

  1. Congrats on so many years Mary, I can only say I stand (or sit!) in awe. Great reading plans love the two books you are going to read and plan to myself soon. I have a new Jenny Colgan to read too but not sure of the title, but received it for review which is nice. Enjoy your reading week.

  4. Congrats, Mary! I will have 8 years in April…but I shouldn’t count my first year, as I didn’t really connect to the community until 2009…and that’s when everything opened up for me. It has been a glorious ride, hasn’t it? I can’t imagine NOT blogging, although some days I get a later start….sleeping in a little more than I once did.

    • Thanks, Laurel. I can’t imagine not blogging either but every once in a while I consider stopping. Just reading my own books. But there are so many good new ones that keep me in the game, lol.

  11. Congratulations on 8 years! I keep forgetting to celebrate my blogoversary but this summer will be 7 years for me. The blogging world has added to those I count as friends. 🙂
    I am not planning to read What We Find until a bit closer to release. I packed Feb and March with more reviews than I realized so I am squeezing in NetGalleys now.
