  1. A new book by Backman! I hope to read Ove this week, and then get the one about the grandmother. My maternal grandparents grew up in Sweden, so I feel connected to them when I read Swedish authors. I hope you are enjoying Winter Streets. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  2. I said yes to the Linda Lael Miller book too. Will be interested in your review once you post about Britt-Marie Was Here. I never read A Man Called Ove but should. It’s in our local library which helps.

  3. Hi Mary,

Whilst I don’t think that either of your new books are for me, I was totally intrigued and captivated by the premise and cover art of ‘Britt-Marie Was Here’.

I know that I am not eligible for the giveaway opportunity, however I do really like the sound of ‘Midnight in St. Petersburg’ and would like to wish everyone who enters, the very best of luck!

Thanks for sharing and have a good week 🙂

  4. I love the cover for Winter Street! How are you getting along with it? Now I’m off to find Fredrik Backman’s novel on goodreads, because I also wish to know a bit more about that one! I hope you have a great reading week.

  5. Dreadful weather. I almost wish it would snow heavily here – anything but the constant rain. Still, a great excuse for me to stay indoors with a great book. I hope your latest reads prove enjoyable.
