  • A Sweet Life – boxed set of Fourteen Contemporary Romances by Bestselling Authors to Benefit Diabetes Research (purchased).  The sale of this set coincides with the Brenda Novak Annual Online Auction for Diabetes Research. This is a cause near and dear to my heart because our youngest child was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was six years old – she’s now twenty-seven. I hope you’ll check out the auction – lots of items for booklovers!

    The charity auction sounds like a great idea and at such a bargain price your boxed set of books was a steal!

    I seldom pay full price for a book these days …. What with the many author review copies I receive, the fantastic sites such as NetGalley where review copies are regularly offered, and the amount of books I buy at bargain prices from the charity shop where I volunteer and where funds are raised to help support out local hospice … there are only so many books one can have … surely?
