We said goodbye to Bailey last Monday. She was a sweet dog and part of our family for over 15 years. We know Murphy (below, left) was there to meet her at the Rainbow Bridge.

  1. I am sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a family pet you have had so long. I have Memory Child in my review pile. I really enjoy Steena Holmes – hope to love this one.

  8. Hi Harvee,

Whilst it is so sad to hear about the loss of Bailey, I am sure from the picture you post, that he had the happiest of times with your family and has left you with nothing but good memories.

I love the sound of ‘Still Life With Bread Crumbs’ and I shall look forward to this particular review, although I of course hope that you enjoy all your new books.

    Have a peaceful week,

    Yvonne.

  11. So sorry about losing Bailey. That always is hard as they are part of the family.
Your book covers make such a pretty view! Enjoy your reading! (BTW – Jo Goodman makes me think of Julia Quinn, Stephanie Laurens, Mary Balogh, and similar authors with strong Regency series.)
