    • I’ve read several Christmas books already (October was Christmas in October month here on my blog). I love to read them but next year I’ll go back to waiting until the end of November 🙂

  1. Now that it’s cold out (brrrrr, snowing already here!) I’m hoping to have some extra time to read some of the larger books like The Goldfinch. I keep seeing marvelous reviews.

    • I’ll probably get to The Goldfinch after the holidays. Just too busy between now and end of the year to concentrate on a big book.

  2. Hi Mary,

The first couple of your books, I already have on my wishlist and I keep seeing excellent reviews and ratings for them both, which bodes well.

I did quite like the sound of ‘The Life I Now Lead’, however just about every review site seems to think that this series should be read in order and your book is number 3. As I am notoriously bad at sticking to reading books in sequential order, I shall have to have a think about it.

You have some great books there though and I hope that you enjoy them all,

    Yvonne.

    • Thanks for visiting, Yvonne. Since I bought all my books last week I’m in no rush to get them read. I’ll probably track down the first two books that precede The Life I Now Lead and read them in order. Have a good week!

    • I really enjoy Allison Winn Scotch’s novels so when I saw it on sale for $2.99 I grabbed it. Now I’m thinking of also getting the audio from Audible. Darlene at Peeking Between the Pages loved the audio.
