Nemo dropped 6 inches of snow at my house before heading to the East coast
Grace visited yesterday. She had fun watching some little boys from the neighborhood make a fort out of the snow pile left by the plow in our front yard.
Happy Reading!
The Promise looks good. I also like the snow!

Did Grace get to play out in the snow?

No, temps were single digits so we played inside.

Kathleen, she is going to be very tall – she’s at the upper end of the height chart for her age right now.

I’m with Grace… stay warm and watch the snow from the window! I’ve been very lucky with the snow this year. That nasty storm was mostly rain here and only two inches of snow.

Oh how I wish we had snow. Those pics are gorgeous! And the one of Grace with her palm pressed to the window is darling!

Laurel-Rain, if you like audiobooks I’d recommend listening to The Good House. I’m a little more than half-way through it and absolutely loving the narrator – Mary Beth Hurt.

Love that you said “treadmill book”! I read while I walk on my treadmill too. Either that, or listen to an audio book.

The Promise is such a pretty cover. Our snow has finally melted, but I love it best when it’s freshly fallen and the trees are feathery. Love your photo of Grace looking out the window.

Hi Mary,
Your shot of little Grace is so poignant, she almost looks as though she is pleading to be let out to play!
Both of your new books look tempting, with the premise for ‘To Catch a Bad Guy’ sounding particularly intriguing and interesting. Although if I had to choose just one for my reading list, it would have to be ‘The Promise’, you can’t beat a good historical romance every now and then.
Have a good week, Yvonne

I think in another year Grace will not be satisfied watching other kids playing. This particular day she was fine. It was just too cold for a 19 month old to be outside.
Thanks for visiting, Yvonne. Have a good week!
