Mailbox Monday – June 20

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Hosted in June at The Bluestocking Guide

    • I’ve always wanted to try the GH books so when they were offered as freebies I thought that was a good way to start.

  1. Wow, I never think to put my Nook books in MM. B&N had the two Heyer books free also. You are one clever lady! Happy Father’s Day to Mr. Bookfan. Hope you both have a wonderful day. Enjoy your new books!

  2. Hi Mary,

I haven’t read any Georgette Heyer for years, but I used to be a great fan, in fact I think I still have some of her boks still in my TBR pile, in very early print editions, I must dig them out and dust them off!!
I love the new style cover art on the reprints, hope you enjoy them both.

  3. I have read all the GH books and still love them. The D word book I have seen getting positive reviews on the blogs. Would like to see what you think of that one.

  5. My Heyer experience stands at one I loved, one that I didn’t finish, it was just meh. I want to read more, but I need to research which ones first.

I really like your colorful collection of covers. Enjoy your reading!

  6. Can you believe I’ve not read a Georgette Heyer yet? Sourcebooks asked if I’d like to review one in August, and I choose Venetia (partly because it sounded like Venice, isn’t that awful of me?). Anyway, I love getting free ebooks so I’ll have to check for my nook, and I love getting books from new authors. Have fun!

  7. I snagged both of the Heyer books too when they were free. Love those freebies especially when the books are on my wish list like the Heyer books were. Your other books look good as well. I hope you enjoy them all.
