Book Blogger Holiday Swap gifts

The UPS man delivered a package on Monday.

How exciting to open it and find:

I felt like a kid on Christmas morning!

I found a cute “meowy christmas” card tucked inside.

A great mug (click photo for a closer look)

Burt’s Bees Hand Creme and Lip Balm

Thank you to my generous secret santa,Β Melissa.

She selected a book I’ve wanted to read since I first heard about it.

And the rest of the gifts are perfect for someone (me) stuck in

  1. Mary it looks like you hit pay dirt!! Something happened to me this year with the Holiday Blogger Swap. I signed up but never received my SS e-mail. Oh well there is next year!

  2. I just loved this post and all the pictures … for some reason it really helped put me in more of a Christmas spirit!

  3. Good job to your Secret Santa. Looks like you’ll have some happy reading. I haven’t opened my Secret Santa stash yet (my family are real sticklers for waiting) but I can’t wait. Merry Christmas.

  4. You’re very welcome, Mary! πŸ™‚

I read ROOM back in September and loved it so when I saw it on your “wishlist” I decided to send you my copy – I hope you love it.

    Keep warm and Merry Christmas!

  5. That is a wonderful gift!! I love it all and like you said you can now moisturize(I love those products), then sit back with a hot cup of tea in your new mug and curl up reading Room!!

  6. What an awesome Secret Santa!
I felt all giddy just seeing your gift wrapped packages and ROOM! You deserve everything and Melissa is the Claus of the Xmas season.

    Enjoy Mary πŸ™‚

  7. What a wonderful, thoughtful package of gifts Mary! I love that Mug and the saying on it. Perfect. Enjoy your goodies and I’m glad that the swap went well for you. I participated twice and they both were disapointing and I felt neglected and was disapointing so I passed this year.

    • Bonnie, I’m so sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience with the exchange – two years in a row! Did you let the organizers know? I guess I would have passed this year too.
