Mailbox Monday – Nov. 8

at Knitting and Sundries

My buys:

Comfort & Joy: A Novel by Kristin Hannah

Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman

I bought 2 signed copies at Beth Hoffman’s reading last week. If Beth visits a bookstore near you – go see her. She’s a fantastic speaker.

  1. Comfort and Joy is a Kristin Hannah book I haven’t read yet. It looks like a Christmas one, so if I’m going to do it this year, I’d better hurry!

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  2. Mary … what a treat it was to meet you last week! Thank you so much for your kindness and support. Oletta is waving hello from the kitchen!

  3. Hi Mary,

Neither of your Mailbox buys, are authors that are familiar to me, but I really like the sound of the Kristin Hannah book.
I shall keep a look out for it on my travels. Crime fiction is my favourite genre, but I will read just about any genre, depending on the mood I am in.

  4. I bet you love CeeCee Honeycutt (or, you read it and loved it and then got the signed copies). I just love the cover so much … it could be framed.

  5. Looks like a couple of good books. Enjoy! I had to put Comfort and Joy on hold at the library after seeing it here. Sounds perfect for December reading.

  6. I loved, loved, loved CeeCee Honeycutt, I hope Beth comes to a bookstore near me so I can have her sign a copy (and hear her speak). Comfort and Joy looks good, I hope you enjoy it.

  7. I haven’t heard of this Kristen Hannah book before but I hope you get a lot of Joy from it. Of course, CeeCee was a wonderful read. I’m sure your gift recipients will be thrilled!

    Have a good week, Mary.
