Do you remember the photo I posted last week of my knitting project? Well, you can look at it again because that’s how it looks this week. Almost no knitting the past 7 days. I managed to read one book. One! I’m still reading W&P (that line will be included in each Sunday Post for the next several weeks). What’s been taking up some of my time? Gracie (my first grandchild) visits every Wednesday and Thursday while her parents are at work. She is a joy to have around but when she’s here nothing else gets done. No reading. No knitting. No cleaning. Ok, now I’m just making excuses

Oh, she is adorable! I love the way she is just sitting there, looking pretty! Awesome photo today!
Mary…what fun for you…who cares about the other stuff?
Have fun!!!
Patty, you’re right! I’m quickly learning to not care so much about the other stuff.
You don’t need to make excuses! If I had a sweetie like that at my house I wouldn’t get anything done either! Enjoy her while you can!
I will, Kathy
OMG! She is the cutest little girl, evah! They grow up so fast, enjoy her while she is young. It seems like yesterday I babysat for my grandson and nothing got done the days he was with me except fun stuff. Now he’s 17. You can still get lots of reading done, it will just be picture books.
Picture books! Think Goodreads will count them in my yearly total
I’ve started collecting them for Gracie.
Forget about the other stuff, enjoy!
What a sweetie. She has the most beautiful eyes. Pretty soon you’ll be reading with her!
Who cares about housework and knitting and stuff when that cutie is around.. Just enjoy her.. They grow up so fast…
What a beautiful excuse! Enjoy her while you can, Mary! Those teen age years come on like an out-of-control train before you know it!
What a doll baby!!! Nothing else matters but the precious times and memories with little ones. They grow up much too quickly and chores, etc will always be there. Enjoy your angel and give her an extra squeeze for me!!
Well, just look at that face!! How could you get anything done…I would be loving on her all day!!!
She’s adorable. No wonder you haven’t been reading or cleaning or anything but giving her your full attention. As for the cleaning part, it’ll still be there tomorrow.
Oh gosh, she is so adorable! Who cares about the rest of the stuff. I’d rather be playing with her too. They seem to stay that small for such a short time that it’s important to enjoy every minute.
Wow. She’s beautiful! What eyes!
Gracie is gorgeous. I’d love to introduce her to Gage
And it’s not making excuses to say that nothing else gets done-it’s the truth!
Gracie looks like a wonderful reason to miss reading and knitting – she is adorable!
