OH Mary this is a beautiful site on a cold rainy Satruday morning… Are Magnolia tree won’t be blooming for another few weeks.. We need more warm weather, but the buds are there..

I love Magnolia blossom, even though we don’t have any in our own garden.
The Magnolia and Camelia are both in full blossom, here in the milder Southern UK, with Rhododendrons and Azalea jusy beginning to make a show, lovely time of year.
Yvonne, it really is a lovely time of year. After our long winter it’s such a pleasure to see the show of spring arrive.
I love magnolia blossoms! They are truly gorgeous, and you’ve captured them in all their glory.

We’re weeks away from the 2011 appearance of blossoms. I just needed to see them today in our rain and threat of snow *sigh*
We had a magnolia tree in our yard years ago and I just loved it, but boy, are they a lot of work!
I think they’re worth the trouble, right?

Very pretty. They are such beautiful trees even if a little messy. When my Magnolia blooms I know summer is around the corner. It has buds… next week maybe some flowers.
I guess there is a little mess but really, ours is at the back of our yard so I don’t see it – just the beautiful flowers. And then they’re gone in a blink it seems.
This picture sure is just what I needed this morning. It is so cold and dreary here. This will help brighten the day! I adore magnolias!
